Job summary

Beast Industries in Greenville, North Carolina, seeks an experienced Assistant Editor to guide video projects from ingest to delivery. The role requires strong Premiere Pro skills, familiarity with social media platforms, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

You will work closely with the DIT, manage project organization, and handle deliverables and renders while maintaining a balanced editing room environment. This is a full-time on-site position with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Premiere Pro.
• Knowledgeable of social media and digital video platforms.
• Great communication skills to ensure smooth project operations.
• Detail-oriented, technical, and open to new ideas.
• Comfortable working with most video codecs, formats and transcoding.

Responsibilities

• Work with the DIT to ensure safe delivery of media to editorial.
• Responsible for project organization including ingesting, syncing, logging, stringouts and selects.
• Responsible for deliverables, renderings and other tasks provided by the editor.
• Overall responsible for maintaining a balanced and structured environment in the editing room.
