Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Drama Director to support Co-Directors with this year's middle school musical production. The Assistant Director will focus primarily on the musical components of the show, including overseeing the score, supporting vocal rehearsals and singing instruction, and assisting with technical and rehearsal needs. Preferred qualifications include experience with musical theater productions, vocal music, working with middle school-aged students, and piano accompaniment. We are looking for a positive, collaborative individual who is excited to help students develop their skills and confidence through musical theater.

Auditions: November 16-19, 2026, from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Snoqualmie Middle School.

Rehearsals:November 30, 2026 - March 2, 2027, M-Th from 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Performance Dates: Friday March 5, 2027 and Saturday, March 6, 2027.

Must 19 years old to serve as an Assistant Drama Director.

*Coaches and Advisors who begin more than two weeks after their respective sport or activity begins will have their stipend prorated accordingly. Proration is based on total days worked in the season or activity versus total days of the season or activity.

*Snoqualmie Valley School District benefits are administered by the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) under the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB).

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). If combined with another position, including substituting, an employee anticipated to work at least 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
