Assistant Drafter

EVAPCO Inc. is an Employee Owned manufacturing company with global resources and solutions for worldwide heat transfer applications headquartered in Taneytown, MD. We have an immediate full‑time opening for an Assistant Drafter and are looking for a self‑motivated and detail‑oriented person to join our team.

Specific Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize Solid Edge modeling software.
• Create detail drawings from 3D unit models produced by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters.
• Revise drafts and models as directed by Sr. Designers, Designers, and Sr. Drafters.
• Demonstrate the ability to review and check own work after training. 

Qualifications

• Must have a SOLIDWORKS Certificate or a comparable certificate from a college or university.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments or projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to meet required deadlines.
