Job summary

Maryland Department of Transportation in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Assistant Division Chief (Administrator VI Supervisor) in the State Highway Administration's OPPE Program Development Division. The role directs planning, budgeting and reporting for the quarterly Capital Program and CMAPS systems.

The incumbent will oversee program expenditures, develop funding analyses, and coordinate with SHA senior management and MDOT leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Six (6) years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Three (3) years of experience performing professional transportation planning work, fiscal and program management work, or financial accounting/budgeting work; One (1) year supervising others.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise the major functions of the Program Development Division.
• Develop and QC SHA’s quarterly Capital Program submissions.
• Manage CMAPS-based program submissions and reports.
• Provide funding allocation analyses using charts, graphs, and spreadsheets.
• Oversee SPR program and liaison with SHA offices and MDOT leadership.
