Job summary

Purpose

The Assistant Diving Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Diving Coach with the training and development of youth athletes, ages 6-18, in a safe, structured, and positive environment. This role supports daily practice operations, skill progression, competition preparation, and athlete mentorship while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The Assistant Diving Coach works under the guidance of the Head Diving Coach to advance the program’s mission of developing skilled, confident, and successful student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Coach age group divers (ages 6-18) on springboard and platform under the direction of the Head Diving Coach.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Competitive diving or gymnastics experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dive coaching experience preferred.

Salary

$18.00 hourly

Work Shift

• Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm- 8:00pm.
• Hours will vary during Holiday breaks.

Employment Eligibility

Retirement Plan Eligibility

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
