Starting salary is $85,000, increasing to $90,000 upon Bar admission.
The Office of the Queens County District Attorney is accepting applications for our Spring 2026 Class, beginning March 30th, 2026. We are seeking talented law students and attorneys committed to fair and just prosecutions and community safety.
The office prosecutes all crimes in Queens County. Entry-level ADAs undergo rigorous training in criminal law, procedure, and ethics, followed by rotations in various bureaus such as Intake, Criminal Court, Domestic Violence, and Appeals, providing courtroom experience. Many responsibilities involve evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Post-rotation, ADAs may move into felony trial bureaus, engaging in investigations, line-ups, and crime scene work, under supervision. The office supports career development and advancement within its divisions. All entry-level prosecutors participate in community events.
