Job summary

The Fifth Judicial District Attorney's Office in New Mexico is seeking one or more attorneys at the Assistant Trial Attorney to Senior Trial Attorney level, depending on experience. Base salary follows the New Mexico District Attorney Salary schedule, ranging from $80,218 to $100,272 per year.

Two positions are available in Carlsbad and Lovington. The office will pay NM Bar dues and National District Attorney's Association membership.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and current license to practice law in New Mexico.
• Experience as attorney preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute criminal and non-criminal cases.
• Two positions available in Carlsbad and Lovington, NM.

Job description

The Fifth Judicial District Attotney's Office has an immediate position for a new/and or experienced attorney. Salary will be based upon the New Mexico District Attotney's Salary schedule with salary range of an Assistant Trial Attorney ( $80,218.00 ) to a Senior Trial Attorney ( $100,272.00 ), based upon experience. Must be licensed in the United States. There are 2 positions open in Carlsbad and Lovington NM. The office will pay for your New Mexico Bar Dues as well as the National District Attorney's Association membership. This position provides for the prosecution of criminal and non-criminal cases.
