Job summary

Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council Inc. (GLITC) seeks an Assistant Director for GLITEC to provide organizational leadership, oversee program leaders, and ensure compliance with grant requirements across multiple offices. Travel throughout the Bemidji Area is required and the role acts for the Director as needed.

The position emphasizes program oversight, cross-team collaboration, and strategic planning to support Tribal Nations and urban Indian communities within GLITEC’s service area.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in public health, epidemiology, health administration, public administration, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead organizational priorities into program expectations and timelines.
• Monitor grant deliverables, performance measures, and reporting schedules.
• Support program directors and staff through supervision and mentorship.
• Promote cross-program coordination and collaborative service delivery.
• Travel as required to GLITEC offices and projects.
