Job summary

Babilou Family US is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Certified Teacher and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children across our Little Sprouts and related schools. You will assist in daily classroom operations, supervise staff, implement curriculum, and engage families while upholding Sustainable Education principles and HONOR values.

This role offers leadership opportunities, ongoing training, and a pathway to growing within a mission-driven early education network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in childcare or school management.
• Director state credentials required.
• Knowledge of state childcare regulations and licensing standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive enrollment growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with daily lesson plans and activities.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Oversee sustainable education practices in daily routines.
• Build relationships with families and staff to support a positive school culture.
• Perform supervisory duties and support hiring, training, and feedback.
• Maintain licensure standards and compliance with state regulations.
• Lead in absence of the School Director and guide operational decisions.
