Commonpoint Queens is seeking an Assistant Director for the IslandQuest Day Camp in Orangeburg, NY. This role involves supervising camp activities and staff, ensuring a nurturing environment for youth development. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with at least three years of experience in youth development and supervisory roles. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you'll be collaborating with families and staff. This is a seasonal position, working Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with youth or in Youth Development.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong experience communicating with families and children.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations and organization of campers and staff.
• Attend all monthly Leadership meetings.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
