Job summary

Commonpoint is hiring an Assistant Director for Island Quest Day Camp and the Pathfinder Special Needs and Inclusion Program on Long Island, NY. You will help plan and implement a nurturing, educational environment that supports campers’ social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with youth or in Youth Development.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly Leadership meetings and pre-camp orientations.
• Lead and supervise campers and staff during activities and the camp day.
• Oversee daily operations and camper-staff organization across groups.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and maintain records.
