Responsibilities

• Directs services and departments in reprocessing functions including collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization and high-level disinfection.
• Oversees the surgical instrument inventory and supplies supporting departmental activities.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, local, state and federal surveys/audits.
• Develops and ensures compliance with the departmental budget.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure instrument availability and customer service excellence.
