Job summary

Beloit College's Office of Advancement & Alumni Engagement seeks an Assistant Director of Prospect Management to support fundraising through prospect research, data analysis, and portfolio management. You will collaborate with senior leadership and the Advancement Operations team to provide insights and drive donor engagement.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, data-driven decision making, and cross-training across the unit to ensure continuity of operations and strategic fundraising progress.

Qualifications

• Two–five years’ experience in prospect management, research, data analysis, or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with relational databases preferred.
• Strong MS Word/Excel and fundraising software skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects with competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Analyze data, synthesize findings, and present results clearly.
• Analyze prospect pools and ensure proper assignment per guidelines.
• Document fundraising metrics and division reporting.
• Support creation of constituent profiles and monitor alerts.
• Identify prospects using wealth screenings and data mining to meet funding goals.
• Monitor, analyze, and report progress toward goals.
• Stay updated on new tools and methodologies to enhance work.
• Collaborate to develop and maintain Advancement policies.
• Safeguard donor information and adhere to confidentiality policies.
