Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline taught in SLCC's General Education program
• At least 1 year of full/part-time work in jail, prison, or re-entry settings
• At least 2 years of higher education teaching experience
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and coordinate with administrators, faculty, and external partners.
• Schedule courses and manage curricular agreements with other colleges.
• Recruit, train, and support faculty for prison education programs.
• Advise students and assess course quality and outcomes.
• Manage budgets, resources, and college-owned assets.
• Engage with stakeholders on and off campus to advance educational equity in corrections.
