Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or Educational Leadership.
• Qualified for Vermont endorsement 3-86 (Director of Special Education).
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and related state/federal regulations.
• Experience in administering special education programs, supervising staff and managing budgets.
• Commitment to advancing equity and student-centered practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and compliance of special education programs and services.
• Oversee district evaluation processes and ensure timely, high-quality assessments.
• Monitor out-of-district placements and program effectiveness while ensuring regulatory compliance.
