Job summary

Illinois Education Job Bank is seeking a seasoned education administrator to provide leadership for cooperative-wide program planning and evaluation. You will assist the Director in developing comprehensive plans, supervise program staff, and mentor supervisors to strengthen service delivery.

The role includes coordinating summer programming (including ESY and case study evaluations), grant administration, and ensuring compliance with state and federal policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Administrative Endorsement; Director of Special Education or General Administrative endorsement.
• Willingness to complete Director certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and assist the Director in developing cooperative-wide comprehensive program plans.
• Conduct program evaluation and needs assessment.
• Formulate goals, objectives and strategies based on identified needs and develop and implement plan.
• Monitor programs and evaluate effectiveness and results.
• Provide effective leadership of assigned ongoing programs.
• Coordinate development and implementation of summer programming services including ESY and case study evaluations.
• Act as a mentor to program supervisors.
• Assist the Director with personnel management and staff evaluation.
• Create a friendly and productive work environment.
• Plan and preside staff meetings with the Director.
