Job summary

Diversicare Sedgwick is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations at our Sedgwick, KS center. You will help interview staff, manage scheduling, and participate in orientation and training to maintain high care standards.

You will support performance reviews, policy enforcement, and regulatory compliance for documentation by physicians and nursing staff, with emphasis on quality care and CQI initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN licensed by State Board of Nursing and at least three years of nursing experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviewing applicants, scheduling, and participate in orientation and in-service education.
• Participate in performance reviews and enforce personnel policies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations for physician and nursing documentation.
• Assist with care planning, Continuous Quality Improvement, and infection control.
