Signature HealthCARE in Muncie, Indiana, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and oversee nursing operations for a 185-bed facility. The role emphasizes detail orientation, policies, and government regulations to sustain quality resident care.

The ADON will manage administrative areas of the Nursing Department, lead staff, and ensure compliance with standards and company policies while promoting staff development and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with required current state license
• Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience
• One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred
• Must have a current/active CPR certification

Responsabilités

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies, and standards of nursing practices and government regulations, so as to maintain quality care.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.
