Job summary

Sears Coastal Nursing & Rehab in Perry, GA is seeking an experienced RN, Assistant Director of Nursing to support the director with clinical leadership and staff supervision. The role focuses on ensuring quality care, coordinating services, and implementing the Plan of Care for residents.

Responsibilities include operational oversight, rounds, admissions screening, incident reviews, physician coordination, staff education, and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Ability to meet health requirements, including a drug screen.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• 2–5 years of ADON experience strongly preferred.
• Must meet operational and clinical competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Guide and participate in the execution of the mission, vision, and values of Sears Coastal Nursing & Rehab.
• Manage day-to-day healthcare operations to ensure residents' needs are met.
• Make rounds upon entering the building each day.
• Participate in screening processes prior to admission and assess items needed by the facility.
• Review all accidents and incidents and develop a plan to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure documentation is informative and describes nursing care and residents’ responses.
• Coordinate and oversee physician rounds.
• Educate, lead, mentor, and supervise department staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Perry, GA

TheAssistantDirector ofNursingestablishes, implements, and evaluates goalsand objectives for clinical services that meet and promote the standards ofquality; assures that care is coordinated between services and that allresident needs are identified through the assessment process and addressedthrough the implementation of the Plan of Care and supervisory process.

The Responsibilities(not all inclusive):

• Guide and participate in the execution of theMission, Vision, and Values of Sears Coastal Nursing & Rehab.
• Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations ofthe facility to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met.
• Make rounds upon entering the building eachday.
• Participate in all screening processes prior toAdmission and assesses items needed by the facility to meet residentneeds.
• Reviews all Accidents and Incidents (A/I) dailyand develops an appropriate plan to prevent future accidents andincidents.
• Conducts a periodic review to ensure alldocumentation is informative and descriptive of nursing care and of the resident's responses to care.

• Perform other duties as assigned

The Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Georgia RN license whichis in good standing.

• Must meet Operational and Clinical Competencyrequirements upon hire and as needed.
• Must be able to relate professionally,positively, and cooperatively with the resident, resident’s family members,facility staff, and direct reports.
• Knowledge of current nursing practices withstrong interpersonal and leadership skills is required.
• Good computer skills – previous experience withPointClickCare ispreferredbut not required.
