Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pahrump, NV is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to lead daily nursing operations and mentor staff. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to promote resident-centered care and ensure regulatory compliance.

You must hold an active RN license in Nevada and have prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience. This role offers opportunity to develop your team and improve resident outcomes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee Unit Managers across assigned units and address resident care concerns promptly.
• Monitor infection control practices and analyze data for trends and improvements.
• Partner with Facility Educator to identify training needs and support staff development.
• Participate in facility surveys and assist with regulatory compliance efforts.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts to meet resident care needs.
• Review and update nursing policies and procedures annually.

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team!

In this leadership role, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to support daily nursing operations, mentor and guide nursing staff, promote quality resident care, and help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. What You'll Do

• Oversee Unit Managers across assigned units, support their success, and ensure resident care concerns are addressed promptly.

• Monitor infection control practices, track and analyze infection data, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Partner with the Facility Educator to identify training needs and support ongoing staff education and development.

• Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies and assist with regulatory compliance efforts.

• Help evaluate nursing department staffing needs and ensure appropriate staffing levels across all shifts to meet resident care needs.

• Assist with reviewing and updating nursing services policies and procedures at least annually.

• Work with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to interview and select qualified nursing staff.

• Assist with annual performance evaluations for nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Help ensure residents receive individualized, high-quality care in accordance with their wishes, care plans, and applicable standards.

What We're Looking For

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada.

• Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.

• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead, support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
