Benchmark Senior Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to manage the Resident Care Department within our senior living community in Connecticut. You will oversee, coach, and supervise all resident care providers and provide on-floor nursing support to residents.

Incumbent will also conduct assessments and be available for on-call as needed. You will communicate with families, ensure compliance with regulations, document care activities, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse licensure per state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year in Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice as RN and 2 years RN care setting experience.
• Gerontology certification a plus.
• Knowledge of dementia care a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• On-call availability as identified by the community.

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor. As a Nursing Supervisor you will manage the successful operation of the Resident Care Department, under the leadership of the Resident Care Director withinour senior living community. Responsibility includes direct oversight, coaching, and direct supervision of all resident care service providers in the community Provide on-floor nursing support to our residents and interact with family members. Incumbent will also conduct external and internal assessments and be available to take on call as needed.

Requirements

• Being a Registered Nurse, per state regulations; Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a plus
• Required is a minimum of 1 year Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice experience as a RN and 2 years' experience in a care setting as a RN
• Certified in Gerontology through the American Nurses Credentialing Association a plus
• Knowledge of Dementia care a plus
• Ability to lift 50 pounds individually
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to be on call as identified by the community
