Assistant Director of Nursing ADNS RN

WhiteHall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is currently hiring for a diligent full-time Nurse RN to provide excellent senior care as our Assistant Director of Nursing Services, earning a competitive pay, based on experience. General Description of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADNS)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents, including:

• Coordinating total nursing care for residents;
• Implementing specific procedures and programs;
• Participating with the Director of Nursing Services and Nurse Manager in establishing goals;
• Determining work procedures and expediting workflow;
• Ensuring compliance with all policies, state requirements, Department of Health regulations, and Federal regulations;
• Communicating with and supervising staff;
• Providing daily and periodic reports;
• Performing other nursing duties as needed.

Essential Duties of ADNS RN

1. Provide quality nursing care to maintain or attain the highest practical level of resident functioning.
2. Ensure sufficient qualified nursing personnel are assigned per shift to meet resident needs.
3. Assist in planning staff development programs to enhance staff knowledge and manage nursing staff.

Qualifications Needed for Assistant Director of Nursing

Education/Training: Must hold a current, valid RN license in this state and current CPR certification. Experience in Long Term Care Nurse Management is preferred but not required.
