Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Takes on some responsibilities of the nursing department as delegated.
• Provides assistance in the functioning of the nursing department.
• Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care delivery system.
• Oversees and supports the translation of nursing philosophy into practice.
• Supports development and orientation of nursing staff and new employees.
• Makes rounds to evaluate resident care and monitor nursing practices.
• Ensures compliance with legal, safety, health, fire, and sanitation codes.
