Job summary

Milwaukee Nursing and Rehab is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee nursing care and support the DON. The role emphasizes staff development, adherence to care standards, and maintaining a safe, high-quality clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of management experience and an active Wisconsin RN license, with excellent communication and organizational skills to lead a dedicated nursing team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of management experience or equivalent leadership duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Valid RN license in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care for residents/patients and uphold department standards.
• Ensure nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care.
• Coordinate in-service/staff development programs and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise to support nursing processes and patient care.
