Job summary

AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our family in Dallas, Texas. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing with overall clinical management and will help build a high-performing team focused on resident safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas Nursing License, CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nursing License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare program.
• Infection control knowledge and prevention experience.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards per Federal/State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with overall clinical management of the facility.
• Support development of a high-performing nursing team and culture.
• Help implement policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
• Participate in budgeting, staffing, and performance improvement activities.
