Job summary

Asbury Methodist Village in Maryland is seeking an ADON to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the overall clinical operations of the assisted living community and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care.

You will lead staffing coordination, conduct daily rounds, and facilitate resident service plan meetings, ensuring regulatory readiness and staff guidance. This is a full-time position with rotating on-call duties and up to $107,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatric nursing experience, including two (2) years as Charge Nurse.
• Current RN license from the State of MD.
• Current CPR Certification, First Aid Certification within 30 days.
• MD Delegating nurse certificate or obtained within 30 days.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
• Computer Literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24-hour nursing care and clinical operations in the assisted living community.
• Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling oversight, and coverage planning.
• Perform daily rounds to assess residents and ensure care plans are followed.
• Coordinate resident service plan meetings with interdisciplinary teams and families.
• Administer admissions, readmissions, and 45-day assessments per regulations.
• Support annual compliance activities, audits, and policy reviews.
• Monitor infection prevention and assist with outbreak response and staff education.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and coaching for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, interviews, and new-hire orientation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to clinical/emergency situations.
