Description

Assistant Director of Nursing - RN or LPN - Assisted Living

What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

  • Develops, communicates, and maintains nursing policies and procedures in coordination with the Director of Nursing Services, reflecting current clinical practice, professional standards, and company philosophy of care, compliant with laws and policies.
  • Establishes criteria and monitors performance to ensure service quality standards are met.
  • Collaborates with departments, professionals, and agencies to coordinate resident care and administrative functions, representing the facility's interests.
  • Implements Key Clinical Quality Indicator systems to meet or exceed corporate thresholds.
  • Assists with long-term care survey preparations, participates actively during surveys, and undertakes corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values towards residents, families, and staff.
  • Availability for overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • At least one year of professional nursing experience in long-term care.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in nursing service administration or comparable management roles preferred.
