Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN/LVN to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing operations, quality initiatives, staffing, and regulatory compliance at a Seagoville, Texas facility.

The role emphasizes clinical oversight, survey readiness, infection prevention, and continuous quality improvement, with opportunities to mentor staff and lead QAPI efforts.

Qualifications

• Current (RN/LVN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of two years charge nurse and supervisory experience in a long term care setting is preferred.
• Long-term care leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with clinical oversight, nursing operations, staffing coordination, clinical audits, and documentation expectations.
• Lead investigations and clinical follow-up activities related to incidents, quality concerns, and identified trends.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives, survey readiness activities, and implementation of corrective action plans.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing leadership personnel and frontline nursing staff.
• Promote compliance with infection prevention standards, resident safety practices, and organizational policies.
• Support abuse prevention awareness and enforcement activities.
• Help ensure patient and resident safety through effective clinical leadership and oversight.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This nursing leadership role helps maintain high standards of resident care through clinical oversight, quality monitoring, staff development, and operational support. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN/LVN collaborates with nursing leadership to promote resident safety, survey readiness, infection prevention, and continuous quality improvement.
