Journey in Riverside Valley, Saint Albans, WV is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to act as a clinical operational liaison between units and the Director of Nursing. You will oversee daily clinical operations, ensure policy compliance, mentor staff, and coordinate with other departments to support high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with supervisory experience, BSN preferred, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifikationen

• Active R.N. license with a minimum of three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role; long-term care or geriatric experience preferred.
• BSN preferred, with proven skills in organizing and managing nursing services and personnel.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English, with clerical ability to analyze reports and data.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (as required by state regulations).

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) serves as a clinical operational liaison between the units and the Director of Nursing. He/she is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Nursing Units including ensuring compliance with center policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations. Additionally, he/she is responsible for facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, coordination and communication with other departments, and ensuring patient and family satisfaction. In the absence of the DON, the ADON assumes the duties and responsibilities of the DON.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure and Experience: Active R.N. license with a minimum of three years of nursing experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role; long-term care or geriatric experience preferred.
• Education: BSN preferred, with proven skills in organizing and managing nursing services and personnel.
• Communication and Clerical Skills: Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English, with clerical ability to analyze reports and data.
