Job Overview

We are looking to find an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to join the nursing administration team at our skilled nursing facility in Queens, NY!

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in day-to-day administrative functions.
• Make written or oral reports to necessary personnel.
• Monitor and maintain the infection control procedures and policies of the facility.
• Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling staff development classes, training, and orientation.
• Review and revise care plans and assessments.
• Make rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work duties.
• Monitor absenteeism to maintain an adequate number of nursing care personnel.
• Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc.

Requirements

• Valid NYS RN license.
• COVID-19 Vaccination.
• Infection Prevention certification.
• Teaching/in-service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Point Click Care is a plus.
