Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN

Facility: Palm Beach Nursing Center

Location: Lake Worth, Florida

Salary: $76,752 - $85,280 per year

Shift: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Palm Beach Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is a key role focused on infection prevention and control, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and safety in our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee infection control programs and lead prevention initiatives.
• Develop and implement evidence-based protocols aligned with federal and state regulations.
• Conduct staff education and training on infection prevention practices.
• Perform facility-wide audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with clinical teams during outbreak investigations and mitigation.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and compliance reporting.
• Participate in QAPI and interdisciplinary committees.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
• Must have, as a minimum, six (6) months of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
