ADON/Infection Preventionist Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the infection prevention program
• Helping the Director of Nursing manage the entire nursing team
• Training staff, conducting rounds, and ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Staying on top of all those regulations and making sure the facility is compliant

ADON/Infection Preventionist Qualifications:

• New Jersey RN license
• Experience of leading nurses in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• CIC certification
• Deep knowledge of infection control rules (think CDC guidelines)
• Understanding of all those regulations – you know, the ones that keep things legit
• Strong leadership skills – you gotta be able to mentor and guide the nursing team
• Tech-savvy, especially with EMR systems like Point Click Care
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
