Join Our Team as an Assistant Director of Nursing
Support Nursing Excellence and Resident Care

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance. The ability to multitask effectively, collaborate politely with others, and thrive in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this position.

Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

  • Support Staffing Needs: Augment floor staffing as needed to ensure high-quality care.
  • Oversee Resident Care: Participate in MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control as required by facility needs.
  • Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties to nursing staff, ensuring alignment with budget and resident census guidelines.
  • Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain proper resident charting and procedure documentation.
  • Develop Resident Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, medical directors, nursing staff, and consultants to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support Staff Resources: Ensure necessary equipment, supplies, and resources are available to staff in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Infection Control Standards: Complete required assessments and implement effective infection control procedures.

  • Is a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Nursing Board.
