The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical leadership team. You will oversee daily nursing operations and support staff to maintain high-quality resident care.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida RN license with leadership experience in long-term care, strong regulatory knowledge, and a collaborative, resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Experience leading nursing teams in long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to manage clinical documentation and surveys.
• Pass pre-employment Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development.
• Conduct clinical rounds and address resident care concerns promptly.
• Support infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families.
• Help ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support survey readiness and compliance efforts.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
