GlenFlora, a vibrant resident-centered community in Lumberton, NC, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in delivering person-centered care. You will lead nursing staff and participate in 24-hour on-call duties, aligning with our philosophy and regulatory standards.

This role requires an RN with strong geriatric care background and supervisory experience, plus collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents’ well-being

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of two years of geriatric care and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Help establish, interpret, and implement nursing service philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in nursing department staffing, interviewing, hiring, coaching, evaluations, and disciplinary processes as needed.
• Maintain a set schedule and participate in on-call responsibilities, including a proportionate share of 24-hour call.
• Ensure compliance with current state and federal regulations, as well as LSC policies, procedures, and philosophies.
• Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and interdisciplinary teammates to support residents’ physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs.
