Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing staff, support resident care, and ensure regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting.

You will oversee staffing, MDS, care planning, infection control, and documentation while collaborating with physicians and the nursing team to design individualized care plans. The role requires an active Texas RN license, strong leadership, and a restorative care mindset.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license in good standing
• Strong leadership and management experience in long-term care
• Experience with MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: step in to assist floor staffing when needed
• Oversee Resident Care: contribute to MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control programs
• Manage Nursing Staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: review and maintain up-to-date resident records
• Develop Care Plans: collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans
• Support Staff Resources: ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
• Uphold Infection Control: conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
