Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing services, support staffing, and ensure high-quality resident care. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

The ADON will oversee care plans, documentation, infection control, and staff development while maintaining restorative care principles in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs by stepping in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign and delegate duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and up-to-date resident records.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.

Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
