You’ll help shape clinical practices, mentor emerging leaders, and foster a culture of empathy, excellence, and continuous improvement. Your work will directly influence patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and the overall quality of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Mentor and coach nursing supervisors and staff, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care plans and outcomes.
• Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling, and support recruitment and retention efforts.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction scores and clinical performance metrics.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to optimize care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nevada required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of direct psychiatric nursing experience required.
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience, ideally in behavioral healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• A passion for mentoring and developing nursing talent.
• Ability to stabilize acute psychotic and non‑violent crisis by using accepted intervention techniques.
