Job summary

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Joplin, MO. This full-time, day-shift role supports the Director of Nursing in clinical operations and guides nursing staff to deliver high-quality, compliant, compassionate home health care.

You will oversee care plans, participate in education, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. A Missouri RN license and hospice experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in hospice.
• Strong knowledge of clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
• Assist with patient care oversight and clinical quality initiatives.

Location: Joplin, MO
Full Time | Monday through Friday | Day Schedule

We are adding to our already amazing team! Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a strong clinical leader to step into an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role in Springfield. This position is ideal for an experienced nurse who is ready to grow into leadership or continue building on an established leadership background.

As ADON, you will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, guiding nursing staff, and ensuring patients receive high quality, compliant, and compassionate care. You will play a key role in both the day-to-day success of the team and the long-term growth of the department.

What You Will Do

• Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations
