Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinical department
  • Hire, train, and develop staff in collaboration with your leadership team
  • Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services, and accurately assess, communicate, and document resident status on electronic care systems
  • Supervise aides, nurses, and other care staff; delegate nurse duties to unlicensed personnel as needed
  • Perform other leadership duties as required

Qualifications

  • Current Nursing license in the State
  • Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, geriatric nursing, gerontology, or dementia care
  • Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
  • Knowledge of service plan development, medication management systems, infection control, and safety procedures
  • Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, staff empowerment, and responsiveness to residents
