Job summary

As part of the leadership team, you will mentor staff, help with scheduling and evaluations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes while ensuring surveys and corrective actions are handled effectively.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (required).
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory nursing experience is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Support and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and training.
• Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes.
