Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our facility in Syracuse, NY.

Duties
  • Assist the DNS with management responsibilities and maintaining quality of care.
  • Responsible for weekly Wound/Skin Rounds.
  • Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all nursing staff levels.
  • Meet the medical needs of residents.
  • Be available for 24-hour on-call duties.
  • Coordinate and direct planning for nursing services.
  • Maintain knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical record completion.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff.
  • Oversee daily staffing processes.
  • Implement infection control measures.
  • Maintain flexibility to address unpredictable work needs.
Requirements
  • Current New York RN license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings.
  • Management experience of 2 years preferred.
  • Staff education experience of 1 year preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
