This leadership role requires dependable judgment, strong clinical skills, and the ability to multitask.

The ADON will oversee staffing, care planning, documentation, infection control, and staff development while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs and assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, PI, and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties per census and budget.
• Review and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and teams.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Conduct assessments and implement infection control measures.

We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. In This Role, You Will

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs
• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date accurate resident records
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans
• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
