Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee clinical operations, support staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. This leadership role requires dependable, strong clinical judgment and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.

The ADON will coordinate staffing, supervise resident care, documentation, and quality initiatives, partnering with physicians and the nursing team to deliver restorative, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience required.
• Geriatric or long-term care nursing background preferred.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsabilités

• Support staffing needs and assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, performance improvement and infection control programs.
• Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to design individualized care plans.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures.

In this role, you will:

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed

• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs

• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
