Looking for a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team!

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our community that focuses on residents and families, fosters team building, and is committed to developing a positive facility culture. This role acts as a liaison between the Director of Nursing and the nursing staff.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical staff and team members.
  • Participate in developing and achieving nursing department goals, including staff development and educational programs.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff to ensure efficient resident care in accordance with staffing plans and regulations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring documentation systems.
  • Provide direct resident care as needed, ensuring effective interactions with residents and families.
  • Innovate and improve systems and processes for better healthcare delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
  • RN degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least three (3) years of nursing experience with the same resident population.
  • Minimum of one (1) year management experience.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations.
  • Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to quality care.
