Job summary

Mountain Springs Recovery is seeking a compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead our medical team through detox and early recovery. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and QMAPS, ensuring high-quality, ethical care and coordinated treatment planning across the program.

The role requires strong clinical leadership, excellent communication, and dedication to sustainable sobriety. A Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred; 3–5 years of nursing and 1–3 years of supervisory experience are

• Current RN license with ability to practice in Colorado.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience, ideally in substance use or behavioral health.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for clients and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Bonus points for Utilization Review or EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursing team in detox and residential care programs.
• Oversee medication administration, detox services, and health education.
• Collaborate with providers to create and execute treatment plans.
• Review and sign off on all behavioral health nursing services.
• Track medical supplies, manage scheduling, and staff training.
• Communicate with clients and families to provide reassurance and education.

You’ll oversee a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, and QMAPS, provide direct care to clients, and ensure high-quality, ethical, and effective services are delivered at every turn. You’ll also be a key clinical voice in coordinating care and advancing our mission of sustainable sobriety.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support the nursing team in our detox and residential care programs.
