Job summary

Lincoln Tech has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing to assist with managing the Nursing Education Department and help achieve the organization’s aims by maintaining the highest standards of quality, ethics, and integrity.

You would ensure operations comply with government, accreditation, and Company policies and procedures while supporting faculty recruitment, development, and student progression from orientation to graduation.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• CT RN license required.
• 3+ years nursing experience.
• 1+ year teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation.
• Mentor faculty and support educational development.
• Assist faculty in instructional delivery methods addressing diverse learning styles.
• Ensure instructors are present and provisions are made for classes affected by absences.
• Evaluate and update the Faculty Education Plan (FEP) for nursing faculty.
• Conduct classroom observations and review results with faculty and the Director of Nursing - PN, as appropriate.
• Manage student progress from orientation to graduation, ensuring satisfactory academic progress.

You would ensure that the school's operations are in full compliance with all government, accreditation, and Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Of An Assistant Director Of Nursing

• Assist with faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation
• Mentor faculty members; provide support and direction in areas of educational development
• Assist faculty in instructional delivery methods that address students' differing learning styles
• Ensure that all instructors are present, and that adequate provisions are made for classes affected by faculty absences
• Evaluate and update the Faculty Education Plan (FEP) for all nursing faculty

Requirements Of An Assistant Director Of Nursing

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• RN License in state of Connecticut
• 3+ years of experience in nursing
• 1+ year of teaching experience in nursing
