Greencroft Communities in Indiana is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing and lead daily nursing operations, mentoring CNAs and QMAs while upholding quality standards and resident-focused care.

The role emphasizes compassionate leadership, compliance with regulations, and ensuring a supportive environment for residents and caregivers alike.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations and resident care.
• Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and quality standards.
• Lead, support, train, and develop nursing team members, including CNAs and QMAs.
• Assist with hiring, performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, committees, and nursing budget planning.
• Help ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care that supports their dignity and quality of life.
• Provide leadership coverage and assume DON responsibilities when needed.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in long-term care or a retirement community.
• Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience.
