Evergreen Commins is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing facility just outside Albany, NY. The ADON will support the DON, oversee infection control, track hospitalizations, and manage nursing staff to ensure high-quality care and compliance with all regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a NY RN license, 3+ years in long-term care, and some management or education experience. Flexible hours, great benefits, and a supportive leadership team are offered.

• Min. 3 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings.
• 2 years management experience preferred.
• 1 year staff education experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.

• Comfortable with computer systems and electronic documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and direct planning for nursing services to meet the needs of all residents.
• Oversee infection control and tracking of hospitalizations; supervise unit managers, wound care, and medication regimes including pharmacy recommendations and GDRs.
• Assist in overseeing the nursing team to ensure quality customer service and compliance with Federal, State and local rules and our policies and procedures.
• In charge of specific duties within the nursing department.

Evergreen Commins is looking for a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)! Our skilled nursing facility offers both long term care and short term rehab and is located just outside of Albany, NY in East Greenbush. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing. The chosen candidate will be energetic and demonstrate great leadership qualities. The candidate will work closely with the DON. Duties would cover infection control (including COVID), tracking of hospitalizations, oversees unit managers, woundcare, medication regimes (including pharmacy recs and GDRs). You will assist in overseeing the nursing team ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all Federal, State and local rules and regulations, as well as our policies and procedures. The ADON will be in charge of specific dutes within our nursing department.

Key Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a Long Term Care setting.
• The ideal candidate will have completed the 19.3 hours CDC Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training Course. This is not required however preferred and will be necessary to complete within the first month of employment.
• Coordinates and directs the total planning for nursing services to meet the needs of all residents.
