The City of Cleveland Department of Law seeks a civil litigation attorney to handle civil rights and general litigation. The role may include personal injury, property damage, breach of contract, taxpayer and mandamus actions, declaratory/injunctive relief, civil rights under 42 USC 1983, employment, plaintiff litigation and appeals.

Ohio Bar membership in good standing is required. Ideal candidates will have strong writing skills and be able to analyze complex issues in a team setting.

Competenze

• Must be a member in good standing of the Ohio Bar.
• Civil litigation experience in state and/or federal court preferred.

Mansioni

• Handle civil rights and general civil litigation.
• Manage a caseload including personal injury, property damage, breach of contract, mandamus actions, and appeals.

Preferred experience includes insurance defense, plaintiff personal injury or civil rights litigation.
